Sri Siddheswari Peetham was established in the year 1910 by H.H. Sri Sivachidananda Saraswati Swamy (Mounaswamy). Initially founded as Sri Dattatreya Matam, the first deity consecrated was Sri Dandayudhapani Swamy. In 1916, the divine presence of Sri Rajarajeswari Devi and Sri Kameswara Swami was enshrined, marking them as the principal deities of the Peetam, with this the peetam has turned even more Sanctum Sanctorum.
At the heart of the Peetham lies the Sri Raja Rajeswari Ambal (Sri Siddeshwari Devi), who is venerated as the principal deity. Surrounding her divine presence are the Parivara deities:
